Gnat is an alien encountered in Osiris: New Dawn.
Characteristics
The stuff of nightmares: A multi-eyes quadrupedal monster that gives body horror a new meaning. Fast, aggressive, attacks by leaping and makes very disturbing sounds as it tries to consume you with a combination of teeth and multiple tongues erupting from its mouth. Kill it with extreme prejudice.
The Gnat typically comes out at night. Sometimes when wounded it will flee from the player, chasing it during the night, especially for new players, is highly discouraged due to other things that go bump in the night.
