Hover bike is a vehicle in Osiris: New Dawn.

NOTE: As of patch V1.131 the Hoverbike no longer has cargo space or weapons.

Fast, sleek, and maneuverable, with low durability and limited range. Unlike most vehicles, this one can glide over most obstacles with ease.

Characteristics[ | ]

The Hover Bike is a nimble and highly reactive vehicle, offering high speed and maneuverability in a compact scout design. Able to travel up to 46kph/28.6mph without boosting (138kph/85mph with boost), the hover bike is ideal for quick transit, scouting and resource gathering.

Although it is a highly maneuverable vehicle, it has several drawbacks. The bike is not very durable, nor as easily able to handle obstacles as well as the G.A.V. or Rover. The driver may find himself having to repair his vehicle more often than usual due to jarring bumps and landings.

Also this vehicle is unarmed, has no storage slots and short range due to it's small fuel tank and high energy consumption.

So make sure you build a fueling station Small gas tank or a Large gas tank and fill it with hydrazine which is crafted at a Chem Station. Once the tank has some fuel. All you have to do is drive it next to the tank and it should start refueling as long as the tank has fuel.

Taking one glass container of Hydrazine with you is highly recommended. Both due to it's short range and because you don't really learn to appreciate the speed of a hover bike until it runs out of gas far from your base. To refuel this way, simply place the fuel on your belt and select it while standing in front of the hover bike. Press F.

Note: Repairing the hover bike now works in sections. You will no longer be able to repair it simply by spamming F or G while using your Repair tool. You will need to use it by walking around your vehicle and repairing things like left thruster, right thruster, nose and so on.

Note: The hover bike has a homing beacon on it so you can find it if you do have to leave it some were. Use the Locator tool to lock on to it's signal. Left click until the hover bike shows.
